2026 RMPC League - Summer 2026

Battle for the Panson Cup.        When: Thursday Evenings 6:00pm - 9:00pm, Starting April 30th through July 31st

Captains Nights will be held: Thursdays, April 9th and April 16th: 6pm-9pm as well as Monday, April 20th: 6pm-7:30pm.

  • The League is based on the concept of teamwork. A commitment to your team requires a commitment to participate over the 14 - week season.
  • Two PLANNED absences is reasonable , more are not. Playoff weeks projected (July 9 - 23 )
  • Additionally we realize that " life gets in the way" sometimes and there will be an unplanned need to miss an evening. The league will be constructed to accommodate that situation.
  • Players will again be drafted by the captains.
  • Captains will draft based upon their determination of players abilities with no predetermined rating labels assigned. The draft is April 21st.
  • We expect to have 10 teams with 12 players per team.
  • There will likely be doubleheader matches scheduled on a Thursday evening, all games will be 15 win by 2. We will use the "play twice" format to avoid forfeits, like last season.
  • Currently we see 120 full time players as the maximum the league can accommodate based upon our court/date availability.

Clinic 4/15, 10:30am : Soften your game ! - Summer 2026

Wednesday, April 15th, 10:30 - 12 noon. YOU CANNOT HIT THROUGH A BRICK WALL

Gary Ramella, Coach

Intermediate Pickleball Clinic: Soften Your Game, Control the Court  16 players maximum, a waiting list will be created.

$5.00 check which is refundable if you attend. See the cancellation policy on registration page.

This clinic is designed for intermediate players who want to move beyond power-only play and learn how softening your game can actually make you more effective — and more offensive.

We’ll focus on touch shots such as dinks, resets, and controlled third-shot drops, teaching you how to take pace off the ball and slow the game down on your terms. By learning when and how to soften your shots, you’ll gain better control of rallies and stop opponents from dictating play with hard drives.

A softer game helps you:

  • Avoid bangers attacking you by keeping the ball low, unattackable, and out of their strike zone.

Rather than reacting to hard hitters, you’ll learn how to absorb pace, reset the point, and transition forward with confidence. Once you’re in position and balanced at the kitchen line, you’ll be able to attack selectively — turning a soft game into a smart, controlled offense.
